Sr/Principal R&D Engineer

We’re partnering with a structural heart medical device company developing a next-generation transcatheter mitral valve replacement (TMVR) system.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on heart valve design and testing, not sustaining engineering. You’ll work cross-functionally to help bring a life-saving therapy from development through validation and toward clinical use.

Your role with the company:

• Design and develop heart valve technology
• Own testing strategy (hydrodynamic, wear, tissue)
• Lead test method development and validation
• Drive V&V and preclinical work
• Partner with Clinical, RA/QA, and Manufacturing teams
• Analyze data and support key technical decisions

Desired Profile:

• 5+ years of experience in medical device R&D
• Experience with implantable or interventional devices
• Strong background in testing, data analysis, and problem-solving
• Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred)
• Structural heart or valve experience = strong plus
